Jun Pyo wakes up! In alarm! And then remembers where he is.
Jandi’s family force feed him breakfast/lunch, lol. Again, Lee Min Ho’s facial expressions are off the chain!!
Meanwhile! Jun Pyo’s sister and mother are having a fancy breakfast. His mother asks where Jun Pyo is and his sister fibs, saying Jun Pyo is still sleeping because he had a late night out with F4. His mother makes another “PFFTTT FRIENDSHIP, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME” comment and decides to wake Jun Pyo up herself.
THEY MAKE KIMCHI TOGETHER. AND JUN PYO IS JUST WATCHING, ALL INTRIGUED. He asks Jandi if it’s f un!
They’re scrubbing each other’s backs, lol. And THANK YOU DRAMA GODS for all these scenes of Lee Min Ho without his shirt!
He’s scrubbing Jandi’s dad’s back!!!
There’s even a ‘hold-your-breath-underwater’ contest! Jandi’s dad and brother cheat and Jun Pyo throws a fit when he thinks he loses!
Then a visit to food vendors (which are teh awesome btw)! They eat uh mook; Jun Pyo is adorably confused of what he’s eating, hence the ridiculous number of caps.
he’s replaying the day’s events in his head and giggling to himself.
Jun Pyo asks them, “Have you ever made kimchi?” “Scrubbed dead skin off someone’s back?”
No? THEN YOU HAVEN’T LIVED LIFE YET. CRYING, WHY IS HE SO SMUG!!
Ji Hoo finds Jandi at school the next day and tells her to stop avoiding Jun Pyo. Because, after all, wasn’t it Jandi who told Ji Hoo to stop avoiding his feelings for K-Shizuka and just go for it.
Later, Jun Pyo’s pacing up a storm waiting for Jandi to call him. Ee Jung encourages this as it is perfect player behavior; Woo Bin is sympathetic; Ji Hoo is too occupied with his pool game.
It’s Jandi! Except he’s like, “Jandi? Who’s Geum Jandi? OH!! JANDI! WHAT’S UP!” His friends think he’s trying too hard. Ee Jung says he’s embarrassed that he has a friend like Jun Pyo.
Turns out Jandi was calling to suggest that they go out on a double date. Jun Pyo’s expression immediately sours and he tells her NO HE WON’T DO IT! “Did you see how I yelled at her?”
Ee Jung volunteers to go in Jun Pyo’s place, because he wants to see what a commoners’ date is like. Jun Pyo tells him to shove off.
Jandi and Ga Eul are waiting for Ga Eul’s boyfriend…when Jun Pyo shows up, pretending to have run into them by sheer coincidence. He’s so awkward sometimes lol. It’s very endearing!
SO. Ga Eul’s boyfriend was super annoying and just ugh so I only have one cap of him, just to show you that Kim Bum pwns him XD. They may both be players, but at least Ee Jung doesn’t make me want to punch his face in. LOL SORRY, I KNOW I AM SHALLOW.
Jun Pyo is pissed, of course, but refuses to leave. He says he wants to know what a commoners’ date is like and jams Jandi’s arm around his.
They go to eat ~ Jun Pyo gags and makes hilarious expressions when he finds out they’re eating cow and pig intestines!
I HAVE TOO MANY CAPS OF THIS SCENE. BUT IT WAS SO ROMANTIC *SIGHS*. I swear, I’m going to grow up to be one of those middle-aged women who projects herself into sappy Asian dramas. AND THAT IS JUST SAD.
Annoying Guy drags Jun Pyo away under the pretense of getting coffee for the girls, who hang around for a while before deciding to go after the guys.
Jandi tries to get Jun Pyo to apologize, threatening to end their relationship if he doesn’t. He doesn’t apologize and just stalks off. These two go through enough drama to give a passive watcher a heart condition, honestly. LOVED when Jun Pyo told Ga Eul, “You, if you’re gonna date a guy, then at least date a good guy.”
Jandi goes to the F4 hangout to tell Jun Pyo this again, with poor Woo Bin as their messenger XD. Jun Pyo refuses to apologize, so Jandi tells him, “Don’t act like you know me.”
He tells Jandi that guys don’t punch people out in front of the girl they like “just because”. Jun Pyo had a reason for punching out Annoying Guy!
Which Jandi discovers the next day~. She and Ga Eul are trying to find Annoying Guy (who has stopped responding to Ga Eul’s text messages and is basically ignoring her) … when they find out Annoying Guy already has a girl.
We learn that on the night of the double date, Annoying Guy had suggested to Jun Pyo that they ditch Jandi and Ga Eul to meet “real women” at a club: “That Jandi or weed or whatever, she’s totally not it, don’t you think?” Jun Pyo had beaten him up for that, telling him, “If you ever call my girlfriend ‘weed’ or anything like that, you’ll never eat intestines with that mouth again!” I should probably frown more at the violence (which somehow isn’t as comical as it was in the jdrama, but a lot of that was due to Matsujun’s height imo XDD I’m a Matsujun fan, I swear!), but I’m more giddy that he stood up for Jandi lol :).
Annoying Guy says to poor Ga Eul, “I don’t know you! Stop texting me! Are you a stalker or something?” JANDI FLIPS THE HELL OUT, LOL! Great scene ♥. She hurls herself over the railing and roundhouse kicks Annoying Guy in the faceeeeee!
And proceeds to stomp all over him XDDD. See, this is why Jun Pyo and Jandi are a match made in heaven. One just has to look at the insane amount of crazy in their eyes when they get angry.

He later stops that woman, first to clean up her smudged lipstick and second to tell her, “You’re his 4th lover. You’re too beautiful for that.” (I think I read something on soompi about a confrontation between Ee Jung and his father alsjkdflds. Very excited to see Kim Bum in a really intense scene, cause he’s great at those if EoE is any indication. I thought he built up so much intensity for his character that later seeing Song Seung Hoon in the role felt almost anti-climatic)
Ee Jung see Ga Eul sitting on the sidewalk and crying. I don’t know, I just thought this was hilarious lol.
He tells her to stop crying … because contrary to what women believe, they DON’T look prettier when they cry.
Back at the F4 hangout, Jun Pyo is sitting with Woo Bin and Ji Hoo, complaining to them about Jandi and swearing that he won’t let things go easily this time!!!111! … Jandi magically appears behind him.
Jandi says she didn’t realize Jun Pyo was THIS angry with her, so she dejectedly turns away to leave. JUN PYO LEAPS OVER SOFAS TO STOP HER!
Jun Pyo says he’s accept her apology if she grants him three wishes XDDD. She gives him a minute to name them all and he gets so flustered that he only manages to ask that she say to him, with lots of aegyo, “Oppa, I was so wrong!”
Meanwhile, Ee Jung and Ga Eul are bonding over some tea. Ee Jung says that although the teacup looks fragile, it’s very strong (he drops it on the floor to prove his point and then proceeds to smash it with a hammer?!?!??!) because it’s gone through a lot: turned upside down, cut over and over again, forced with withstand 1300 degrees heat, etc, etc. He continues, “What I’m saying is that, in order to become strong, to find what truly belongs to you, there will be a process you must overcome. Just like what you’ve gone through today.” SQUEEEEEEE ♥. I love the analogy.
THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS OMG. EPIC. EPIC WIN. FINALLY! They head to the club that Annoying Guy works at. (And I’d love to know where they filmed this because the background looks kind of familiar to me…)
And takes the stage with his saxophone, telling the crowd, “There is a person here right now that’s completely stolen my heart. I’ll be performing my heart for that person.”
JUN PYO SURPRISES JANDI WITH A LOVELY LIGHT DISPLAY.
She says it’s very pretty … it looks like Christmas. Jun Pyo says he doesn’t have any good memories of Christmas and we get a flashback to little Jun Pyo sitting alone at the dinner table, opening up a Christmas card from MOM :(.
They sit on the swings and talk for a bit. Jun Pyo says that he didn’t know what a family was, but after spending time with Jandi’s family, he may have some kind of idea now…
Then, “Can I come over again?” She asks him, “When have you ever asked for my permission to come over?” He says, “I’m not joking.”
